Eligibility Requirements

Grant Application Process

Eligible registered nonprofit organizations will have the opportunity to apply for grants through the MONAT Gratitude grant portal. The opportunity to apply for these funds will open three times in the coming year, and funds will be distributed based on the grant applications received. Grant recipients will be notified by email after each application period closes and will also be announced via email and @MONATGratitudeOfficial social accounts. Only one grant will be awarded to a nonprofit organization per calendar year.

The Process

1

Eligible charitable organizations will apply and register through the online MONAT Gratitude Portal. Everything from application submission to final grant reporting will take place within the portal.

2

Submit the application. Applicants will provide detailed information about the program for which they are requesting support, including an essay about the program, formal documentation clearly reflecting the organization’s charitable status, detailed budgets, and impact reports.

3

After submission, applicants will receive an autoresponder email confirming their application has been received. Once MONAT Gratitude receives all applications for a single grant period, Council Members will rigorously vet each application before making a recommendation to the Board of Directors. All applicants will be notified by email if they were approved or not approximately 6–8 weeks after each application period closes.

4

All organizations that receive funding will be required to share the great work achieved at the end of the grant period through photos, videos, and/or written testimonials and impact report. The final report will be submitted via the online portal. No further funding is available until the applicable final report is completed.
